How does an Advertiser license Data?

The first step for an advertiser is to create an account on the Door App. This will allow the advertiser to deposit DOOR Tokens and subscribe to different data feeds. Once the account is set up and funded with DOOR Tokens, the Advertiser will receive real-time data from Property Owners.

How does the Advertiser buy DOOR Tokens?

DOOR Tokens can be purchased on exchanges like Uniswap or direct within the Door App. Once the Door Tokens are purchased they can be deposited into the account on the Door App and used to license data.

What Data is the Advertiser licensing?

The Property Data includes key information for contacting the homeowner including name, phone, and email. The concept is very similar to when a consumer fills out a form on your website looking for more information. In this case, the data is delivered via email directly to the advertiser.

How much does it cost in DOOR Tokens to license Data?

The pricing for data is published and update in the Door App daily. The primary drivers of pricing are supply and demand for the data as well as the type of data. The Door App publishes data as feeds. Each feed has a pre-determined value per property. Here are examples of the Feeds available:
Properties looking for a Real Estate Agent to list their Property for Sale
Properties looking for Home Repair or Improvement Contractors or Products
Properties looking for Mortgage Broker or Banks to refinance Loan / Insurance.
Properties looking for Home Products (Furniture, etc)
Each feed will deliver matching Properties in real-time to Advertisers who subscribe to the corresponding feeds. The Door App allows the Advertiser to restrict the feed to specific geography (e.g. if the advertiser only wants data in their city). The number of subscribers to each feed will increase the price per property (demand) and the number of properties in each feed will adjust the price (supply).
